Damian Wisniewski (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Milky Log mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This App is designed with a privacy-first approach—we collect only the minimal data necessary to provide you with a functional and personalized experience.

Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
When you use our App, you may provide us with the following information:
- Child Profile Information: Name and date of birth of your child(ren)
- User Role: Your preferred role designation (e.g., Mom, Dad, Caregiver) for personalized language
- Feeding Logs: Feeding timestamps, duration, side (left/right/bottle), and volume amounts
- App Preferences: Display settings, notification preferences, and other customization choices
Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be transparent about what we don’t collect:
- We do NOT collect your name, email, phone number, or other personal identifiers
- We do NOT collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
- We do NOT track your location
- We do NOT use analytics or tracking SDKs
- We do NOT collect health data beyond feeding logs
- We do NOT display advertisements
Automatically Collected Information
The App does not automatically collect any personal information. We do not use analytics services, crash reporting tools, or any third-party SDKs that would collect data about you or your device.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:
- Core Functionality: To record and display feeding logs, statistics, and history
- Personalization: To customize the App experience based on your role and preferences
- Data Synchronization: To sync your data across your devices via iCloud (if enabled)
- PDF Reports: To generate feeding reports for pediatrician visits (Premium feature)
- Notifications: To send feeding reminders if you have enabled this feature
We do NOT use your data for:
- Advertising or marketing
- Profiling or behavioral analysis
- Sale to third parties
- Any purpose other than providing the App’s core functionality
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. The data remains on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud synchronization.
iCloud Synchronization
If you enable iCloud sync, your data will be stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service. This allows you to access your data across multiple devices signed into the same Apple ID.

- We do not have access to your iCloud data
- You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings

Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information:
- Data is stored using Apple’s secure frameworks
- No data is transmitted to our servers

Third-Party Services
Apple Services
The App integrates with the following Apple services:
- StoreKit: For processing subscription purchases. Apple handles all payment information directly—we never see your payment details
- CloudKit/iCloud: For optional data synchronization across your devices
- ActivityKit: For Live Activities on your lock screen (iOS feature)
We do not share your data with any other third-party services, advertisers, or analytics providers.
Your Privacy Rights
For All Users
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the data stored in the App (view it directly in the App)
- Delete your data (delete the App or clear data within App settings)
- Disable iCloud sync to keep data only on your local device
- Disable notifications at any time
For European Union Residents (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following additional rights:
- Right of Access: You can access all your data directly within the App
- Right to Rectification: You can edit any feeding log or profile information directly in the App
- Right to Erasure: You can delete your data by removing the App or clearing data in settings. To request complete deletion of iCloud data, contact us at the email below
- Right to Data Portability: You can export your data via the PDF export feature (Premium)
- Right to Object: You can disable any data processing features (notifications, iCloud sync) in settings
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent by uninstalling the App
Legal Basis for Processing: We process your data based on your consent (when you add children and feeding logs) and for the performance of a contract (providing App services you requested).
For California Residents (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights:
- Right to Know: We collect child profile data and feeding logs as described above
- Right to Delete: Delete your data through the App or by contacting us
- Right to Opt-Out: We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties

Children’s Privacy
Our Users
This App is designed for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers of infants. The App is NOT intended for use by children under 13 years of age.
Data About Children
While the App collects information about infants (name, birthday, feeding data), this data is:
- Provided by parents/guardians, not by children themselves
- Used solely for feeding tracking purposes
- Stored locally or in the parent’s/guardian’s personal iCloud account
- Never shared with third parties
- Never used for advertising or profiling
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Data Retention
- Local Data: Retained on your device until you delete the App or clear data in settings
- iCloud Data: Retained in your iCloud account until you delete it or disable iCloud sync
- Purchase Records: Managed by Apple through your App Store account
We do not retain any data on our servers as we do not operate servers that store user data.
International Data Transfers
If you use iCloud sync, your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, as determined by Apple’s iCloud infrastructure. Apple provides appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in compliance with GDPR and other applicable laws.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
- Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
